War costs money.

After suffering through the Great Depression, our nation sobered up and sacrificed, jumping into action to preserve our freedom. The Wonderland of Knowledge understands this, and to demonstrate the sacrifice that our country, as well as many more across the globe, in their entry on “World War II,” they provided this chart to show just how much each country gave:

What a great idea to demonstrate that war isn’t all shoot-em-up and save the- what’s that? Oh, yeah, that is odd. Let’s take a closer look at how the book decided to represent the losses that each country took.

Oh. The floating corpses of dead soldiers.

Great. I said “sobering” but I guess I meant “intentionally depressing.”

    an even closer look at the soldiers reveals that they have at least one breast.
