Our One Year Anniversary

May 17th, 2009 · 3 Comments

Today marks the one year anniversary of RamseyEss.com. So, how do we mark this occasion? It would be silly to create a clip show as all of my favorite posts are highlighted on the bottom left corner of the page, and I think one year is a little too early to corral my many, many celebrity friends to create an all-star tribute. Instead, I’m going to present to you a letter written to my first girlfriend back in the 9th grade on our one month anniversary, adapted slightly to reflect this special day. (Changes are marked in italics.)

Dear [name withheld] RamseyEss.com Readers,
It has been an amazing month year together. I can’t believe all the things we’ve done together. I never thought that I’d be able to have a girlfriend group of people who read my website that is are as smart, funny and beautiful as you. You make me so happy and I can’t wait to see what the next month year has in store for us the content on this website.

Most importantly, you’ve made me a better person. Before I met you, I did nothing but play video games, read Star Wars books and make stupid sketches. You’ve shown me that there’s more to life than that. You’ve encouraged me to continue on this path.

I love appreciate the traffic that you bring to my website so much. Even though I can’t tell my mom about you, I know that you understand, and when the time is right, I will let her know.

Sincerely,
Schmoopy
Ramsey Ess

Thank you guys for reading the site over the past year. Please don’t break up with me before the Spring Fling.

once in the fifth grade i tried to impress a girl by tracing a Far Side cartoon on the back of a love note I wrote to her. Didn’t work.

Happy happy happy birthday! Ramseyess.com is funnier than all the “starring Colin Mochrie” flash animation videos I watched in 9th grade -combined! I didn’t have a 9th grade girlfriend, so this means a lot. It is also my homepage on my broken computer. I also sent it to my sister once.

    I also,
    Killbot.
