As you may have heard, Ringo Starr says he’s not going to sign any more fan mail if it’s postmarked after today. Some folks have already offered to sign autographs on his behalf, but I am prepared to do the world one better:
Starting today, October 20th, if you email me your address I will send you an authentic Ringo Starr autograph as interpreted by myself, Ramsey Ess or the autograph of any other Beatle.
But hold on there for one more second. Not only can you have an autograph from any Beatle (which includes fifth Beatles such as Brian Epstein, George Martin, Pete Best, Stu Sutcliffe, or myself, as I now technically count) I will sign that autograph on a photograph of any one of your favorite Monkees. You want a Paul McCartney signature on a photo of Michael Nesmith? Maybe that’s what you’ll get! (I choose the Monkee.)

This will seriously undercut my “Your Head Photoshopped Onto Herman’s Hermits” Christmas card business.

FACT: The first band I ever saw in concert was The Monkees. They were all in their mid-fifties and sixties at the time, but Davy Jones was still wearing tight leather pants.
This exciting offer could allow me to relive those 2 hours of wonder and slight fear.
