How to Irritate People

September 11th, 2008 · 3 Comments

We all know how fun it can be to exit a movie with a friend in front of people waiting to see the same movie and lay out a fake spoiler. “I can’t believe Batman died!” you’ll say, or maybe “Wow, they really set There Will Be Blood up for a sequel, huh?” (No? I’m the only person who does this?)

Well, I’ve found the equivalent for concerts. Try this one at the next Radiohead show you attend, in as pompous a voice as you can muster: “Everybody knows that the real Thom Yorke died five years ago, and that guy was just a replacement named Allen Waldstaff.”

Thanks for not using Machinehead as your example. I would have cried ;)

Remember when we saw Nacho Libre together? I don’t remember you ever saying “I can’t believe Jack Black ended up actually being Jon Heder”. So….please don’t lie in your blog. Thanks. (smiles!)

The concept of this article seems so foreign to me that I cannot even comprehend it.
