Mike Myers’ new film The Love Guru has upset some Hindus, saying that the main character Pitka lampoons “Hinduism and Hindus and uses Hindu terms frivolously.”

Myers probably selected Hinduism due to their ties to nonviolent resistance with the hopes that any protesting would be calm, and ideally, hunger strike related. Here are some concepts that were rejected due to their connection to much more outspoken religions:

• The Freaky Sheik
• The Love Rabbi (He was really close with this one!!!)
• The Ba-donka-Monk
• The Pope Who Has Sex
